Paul Hsu Senior High School (PHSH) was founded in 1969 with the purpose of providing an environment that helps the youth to live a happy and healthy life, to acquire useful knowledge as well as to cultivate the appropriate life attitudes and being decent civics.

　　光啟高中創立於1969年，其創立是為提供一個適當的環境，協助青年人能過快樂的與健康的生活，獲得有用的知識和培養正確的生活態度，成為良好公民。

　

　　 The school was reclassified in 2003 as a Comprehensive High School offering both academic and vocational programs in optional courses to meet the need of students for developing their careers. Through the career planning program for 10th graders, students get to know more about themselves and to acknowledge their aptitude and strengths. With teacher's assistance and individual guidance, 11th graders and 12th graders are encouraged to take courses for their better development and performance.
　　Growth from knowing yourselves is our belief and basic principle for our school-based curriculum design.

　　本校於2003年全面改制為綜合高中，提供學術與專門學程的選修課程以符應學生生涯發展的需要。本校綜合高中的特色在於讓學生適性發展，本校透過高一生涯規劃課程，同學可以盡情探索自己，找出符合自己性向及興趣的優勢能力。
　　成長從認識自己開始，這是本校校本課程設計的信念與基本原則。
